Painting Description: No 27

In a figurative, emotional, expressive, and trans-documentary formation, Shubbar wished to move the foregrounded leading figures, as known historically, in a way that they chose their platform in the lake of pain to practice a contemporary ritual. This approach builds the cornerstone of a modern pragmatic function, worth being appreciated with its employed symbols outside the prevailing style of painting, along with the skills performed by the director who moves the main characters of his play on the stage according to an unexpected mise-en-scene. It also incorporates an ornamental scenography that drives the audience to a critical area standing between the classics and the unrestrained contemporary styles. This manner reinforces playing with symbols outside its zone, in an exotic, conscious, and provocative selectivity.
