Painting Description: No 38

This painting was drawn by the artist’s imagination.
A pomegranate grenade is left on the golden ground.
Shubbar deliberately provides notation here which is a manifestation of his contemporary beliefs in the field of Shubbarialism that extends to vast capacities of thought. This process results from brainstorming or interaction between the artist and his painting.
Shubbar is the man in love, not personally embodied in the painting, but rather through his heroic figure Antarah and his beloved Abla. He wandered across the color palette. In spite of its excessively joyful colors, they are, however, dangerously performed in the world of drawing. Therefore, cavalry and courage are required to use colors such as gold, red and green. The skillful use of the aesthetic palette is like Antarah’s armor which he uses in combat against rivals and eventually wins.
The coloration benefited from the Assyrian board (the soldiers are diving), so we observe this advantage while expressing the affluence of this intervention in the paintings offered by Shubbarialism.
