Painting Description: No 4

The beauty of such monodrama, which is presented by Antarah, lies in the fact that he is an individual who has no peer. The memorable image of the iconic foregrounded leading figure, together with his material and moral equipment, made him transcend the spatiotemporal setting through performance and technicalities. The calligrapher played his role in that too through the establishment of the physical and moral space of the painting and introduced the hero to this cultural chain inherited from the Islamic art and the bold Impressionism relevant to Shubbar’s experience that helps the recipient dig to the roots of the spectacle.
The artist reinforced the scene by using multi-fabric models that broke the monotony, in addition to a deliberate choice of one traffic sign that reflects the situation on the ground, as it is a dangerous road no one would dare to take except ones with such emotions like Antarah.
Not to be accused of repetition, Antarah appeared alone in the painting. You may observe a different formative and color breakthrough, along with persistence to complete the painting with an emotional scenario, as well as an active animated mise-en-scene (stage setting), and a scenography revealing outstanding direction skills.
